Visit of a family rice-farm and tasting of 2 exclusive agro-products, exclusively developed and made by this farm in Thailand : a traditional jasmin rice revitalizing natural beverage, as well as a very special type of rice cookie called “Pop-Rice” Demonstration and practice at this rice farm of the handling of traditional tools used in the past for field ploughing, as well as for rice threshing
Visit, with tasting of its products, of a banana chips factory
Visit a traditional textile weaving workshop producing the typical Pakaoma sash worn around the waist by rice peasants ( a Kanchanaburi speciality)
Stop at the show-rom of a Thai date farm and taste a unique energizing natural drink made by this farm with Intapalam Thai dates.

Afternoon Program

Visit the largest orchid nursery in Thailand with 1 Million plants.
Teaching demonstration, together with the orchid nursery owner himself, of the way of culturing, from seedlings to the fully grown plant, of orchid flowers, Thailand’s national flower symbol.
Visit a unique coconut palm sugar farm, the only farm of that kind in the Kanchanaburi region. Inspect an impressive palm-tree plantation composed of 5000 palm trees : see how palm juice is collected from the palm trees’ flowers, and then converted into palm sugar in the farm workshop
Inspect the largest fish farm on the River Kwai in Kanchanaburi : a very original visit during which agro-visitors help local fish farmers in their work to feed the River Kwai fishes by giving them locally made organic fish food.
